PRESS RELEASE: Recover launches new partnership deal with Cresco Labs

Updated: Feb 21, 2019

Chicago, Ill -- February 21, 2019 -- Recover has announced a new partnership with Cresco Labs, a cannabis cultivator, to develop a cannabis grow facility specialized for Recover. The new facility will cost approx. $25 million and be located on the 400 block of West Monroe St. This new facility will adhere to higher standards of quality control than what is currently being provided from outside suppliers.

"This project has been years in the making and after extensive research and collaboration with Cresco Labs this is the best option for our company. With Cresco Labs as our partners we can have our own grow operation up and running in four to six months. Our customers at Recover are our number one priority and it is only right that the products we put out are made with the highest quality ingredients. This project will not only increase the quality but in a few years it will lower our products cost as well," Said Tom Hanks, CFO at Recover.

Recently the quality of product being provide by outside sources has fallen short. Recover has had to send shipments back because they did not meet the standards required of them. This has caused customers to pay extra and frustration from both staff and customers. This has been unprofessional and we will not continue to let this happen. The new facility will be run by Cresco but directly and only catering to the needs of Recover.

Recover strives to be the leader in high quality work out recovery and holds itself to higher standards than that which is required by laws and regulations. Cresco Labs has been the top cannabis provider in North America for over ten years; more than doubling its cannabis grow operation in 2018. They have assured us that our cannabis quality will be within one and a half percentage points of that printed on the labels, current regulation calls for a maximum of 4 percentage points. Cresco Labs has assured Recover that the new cannabis facility will be ready for harvest by August, 2019. Recover plans to stop purchasing cannabis from all outside suppliers effective January 1, 2020.
